Kathmandu- A major traffic accident occurred on Thursday around 4 PM on the Bagmati Corridor road near UN Park in Lalitpur, involving five vehicles. The collision resulted in the death of 45-year-old scooter rider Rajiv Sinha from Gaur Municipality-9, Rautahat.

The accident happened when a van traveling from Kupandol Bridge toward UN Park collided with oncoming vehicles and a scooter. Sinha was taken to Norvic Hospital but succumbed to his injuries around 4:30 PM.
All four vehicle drivers have been taken into custody by Jawalakhel Police, and an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
