Kathmandu — Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli held a meeting at Deuba’s residence in Maharajgunj on Friday afternoon. According to Oli’s secretariat, the two leaders discussed current political issues, including the possibility of restoring the Parliament.

Ramsharan Bajgain, press advisor to Chairman Oli, said the meeting was also attended by Deuba’s spouse, Dr. Arzu Rana, and Oli’s spouse, Radhika Shakya. This is considered the first informal meeting between the former prime ministers after the Z-Generation movement that pushed both parties out of power.
