Chitwan — An 18-year-old girl who had come to the tourist town of Sauraha for an educational tour has died after falling from the window of a fourth-floor hotel room. The deceased has been identified as Sneha Pakhrin, a resident of Kamalamai Municipality–6 of Sindhuli, according to Chitwan District Police.

Sneha, a student at Siddhababa Plus Two Management Gurukul, was on a school trip and staying at Park Side Hotel in Ratnanagar-6, Sauraha. She reportedly fell from the fourth-floor window at around 11 PM. She was rushed to Ratnanagar Bakulahar Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead at 11:45 PM.
Her body has been sent to Bharatpur Government Hospital for a postmortem. Police said further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
