Kathmandu — Seven top office bearers of the CPN-UML have come forward in support of continuing KP Sharma Oli’s leadership following an informal meeting held on Friday. The leaders concluded that Oli should remain at the helm, signaling a significant message within the party.

The meeting included Vice Chairmen Ram Bahadur Thapa and Bishnu Prasad Paudel, Deputy General Secretary Prithvi Subba Gurung, and Secretaries Lekhraj Bhatt, Raghubir Mahaseth, Chhabilal Bishwakarma, and Padma Aryal.
Citing the country’s current political crisis, the leaders emphasized the need for stronger party unity and urged all members to contribute toward consolidation. A UML official said the group also agreed to pursue consensus while shaping future leadership.
