Kathmandu—The Government of Nepal has appointed Suman Raj Aryal as the new Chief Secretary. The decision was made during today’s Cabinet meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Current Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal is set to retire tomorrow, having reached the mandatory age limit of 58. Ahead of his retirement, the Cabinet finalized Suman Raj Aryal as his successor.
Ek Narayan Aryal had assumed office as Chief Secretary on Bhadra 13, 2081.
