Kathmandu—Following a recent human trafficking incident in Bara, SP Santosh Tamang has been relieved of his duties and recalled to the Police Headquarters.
He is replaced by SP Narendra Kunwar from the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau, who has now been posted in Bara.
Meanwhile, SP Bheshraj Rizal of Dhading has been transferred to the Madhesh Province Office, and SP Sumit Khadka has been posted to Dhading.
These significant postings appear to be aimed at strengthening accountability and control within the police after the incident.
