Kathmandu—Akash Prasad Kushwaha, a fugitive wanted in a fraud and organized crime case and listed in Interpol’s Red Notice, has been arrested in Malaysia and brought back to Nepal.

The Rautahat native has been handed over to Chandranigahpur Police for further investigation and legal action.

NCB Kuala Lumpur coordinated the arrest. Interpol had issued the Red Notice on Kushwaha on Mangsir 21, 2080, to track him internationally.
