Kathmandu — Nepal Oil Corporation has increased fuel prices, raising petrol by NPR 2 and diesel by NPR 3 per liter. The new rates will take effect from midnight.
According to NOC, the price hike follows the updated rate list from the Indian Oil Corporation, which had increased petrol by NPR 2.45 and diesel by NPR 6.53. To minimize the burden on consumers, NOC implemented a smaller increase.
