Kathmandu — A foreign prisoner who escaped from jail during the Gen Z protest has been arrested.

The arrested individual has been identified as 35-year-old Abisharg Kaputula from Zambia. A team deployed from the Kathmandu District Police Range apprehended her.

According to SSP Ramesh Thapa of the District Police Range, the arrested prisoner has been sent back to the Central Jail, Sundhara. She had been serving a sentence for a drug-related offense.
