According to the commission, the new party has proposed a “thumbs-up (👍) symbol inside a circular border” as its election emblem. The application is currently under review by the Election Commission.
To register a political party in Nepal, the Election Commission requires verified details of the central committee, official decisions, commitment letters, list of supporters, party statute, regulations, and manifesto. Additionally, the party must submit a commitment letter signed by at least 500 supporters along with copies of their citizenship certificates.
The list must specify the district of each supporter, and they must personally verify their support at the respective district election offices. Once this verification process is completed across districts and all required documents are submitted, the commission proceeds with the final registration.
