Kathmandu — Nepal Police have registered 141 cases nationwide in connection with the Gen Z protests that took place on Bhadra 23 and 24. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, 96 cases were filed in the Kathmandu Valley alone.

Similarly, four cases were filed in Koshi Province, six in Madhes, eleven in Bagmati and Lumbini, seven in Gandaki, and three each in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Home Ministry spokesperson Ananda Kafle informed that 375 individuals have been arrested so far under charges of public disturbance, homicide, theft, indecent behavior, and illegal possession of weapons.

Authorities stated that the government is pursuing legal action against those involved in the violent incidents and vandalism during the protests.
