Bhairahawa: Four industries operating in Rupandehi district have cleared their outstanding premium charges to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) for using dedicated and trunk power lines.

The industries—Panchakanya Plastic Industry, Panchakanya Steel Industries, Siddhartha Petplant, and Shyam Plastic—paid their first installment of dues on Monday.
Following the payment, the NEA reconnected their disconnected power lines, according to NEA Executive Director Manoj Silwal.
The dues cover electricity consumed between Magh 2072 and Baisakh 2075 through dedicated and trunk lines.

Panchakanya Plastic: Rs 2.46 million

Panchakanya Steel: Rs 5.21 million

Siddhartha Petplant: Rs 18.3 million

Shyam Plastic: Rs 4.91 million
The total dues have been divided into 28 installments, and all industries have paid the first installment.
