A joint bench of Justices Kumar Regmi and Shanti Singh Thapa issued the continuation, scheduling the next hearing for November 29. The petition was filed by commission chair Hari Prasad Rijal, challenging the Cabinet’s October 9 decision to dissolve the commission and its district committees.
The court has also ordered the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Land Management to submit written responses within 15 days.
