Kathmandu — Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba is set to travel to Singapore for medical treatment today. He will leave at 9 PM along with his wife, Arju Rana.

During the second day of the Gen Z protest, Deuba and his wife were attacked at their residence in Budhanilkantha, resulting in a head injury for Deuba. He received 12 stitches during treatment.
On Ashoj 28, citing health reasons, Deuba handed over the acting president’s responsibilities to Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka at the party’s central office.
