Similarly, the Madhesh provincial government has announced an additional public holiday on Tuesday, Kartik 11, for the fourth day of Chhath, when worshippers traditionally offer prayers to the rising sun.

Following the recent major Hindu festivals of Dashain and Tihar, the Chhath festival celebrations have begun across the country. Devotees are busy with fasting, rituals, and preparations at riversides, ponds, and ghats.

On this occasion, our Patro family extends heartfelt greetings to all Nepalese on Chhath festival.
