Kathmandu — In the ongoing all-party meeting at the Prime Minister’s Residence, Baluwatar, parties have raised concerns about election security.

According to government spokesperson and Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel, all parties have shared their views in the first phase of the meeting. He stated, “There is consensus on going ahead with the elections, but parties emphasized the need for the government to ensure a secure environment.”

Sources said that while UML expressed doubts over the government’s ability to conduct the election smoothly, it has not opposed holding the elections.
