Kathmandu — An earthquake was Strikes in Bajhang district late Wednesday night. According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the tremor occurred at 1:08 AM with a magnitude of 4.9. The epicenter was located in Dantola, Bajhang.
The midnight quake caused panic among local residents. Tremors were also felt in neighboring districts. Some locals reported cracks in a few houses. However, police stated that no official reports of damage have been received so far.
