Kathmandu – The Kathmandu Valley Police Office has recalled all units after the situation was deemed “unsafe.” A team led by Sudhan Gurung, founder of the organization “Hami Nepal,” had reached Bhadrakali to file a formal complaint against former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.

However, police refused to register the complaint, citing that an investigation commission is already probing the Gen Z movement incident.

Following this, Gurung’s team declared, “We’ll show it from the streets,” and left the premises. In response, police recalled all personnel from field units back to their respective stations. Using the “Victor Control” call sign, the Kathmandu Valley Police issued the order for reserve force mobilization after 7:30 PM. There are 60 units across the valley.

A police official stated, “Manpower in field units is limited, and resources are also minimal, so we decided to pull them back.”
