Kathmandu – The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecasted light to moderate rainfall in some regions on Dashain Tika day, Asoj 16.
According to the department’s special bulletin, rain is likely in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, as well as in the hills and plains of Koshi Province. Some areas in Madhesh and Sudurpaschim provinces may also experience light rainfall.

On Asoj 14 and Asoj 15 (Asthami and Navami), light rain is expected in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Koshi provinces. The department advised the public to remain cautious as monsoon winds are expected to continue throughout the Dashain festival.
