Kathmandu – CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has announced the formation of a property investigation commission and pledged that all party leaders will be required to disclose their assets. He announced while addressing the party’s Central Committee meeting.

Prachanda emphasized the need for a new work culture, urging leaders and officials at all levels to adopt fresh approaches in managing their families, secretariats, and cadres. “The old ways will no longer work. We must move forward with new methods and practices,” he stated.

According to him, transformation is necessary not only in organizational practices but also in personal lifestyles and cultural habits. He instructed leaders to submit written suggestions on how to make their food habits, dress, and relationships with ordinary people simpler and more people-oriented.

Following the conclusion of the meeting, the CPN (Maoist Centre)’s Central Committee will be transformed into a General Convention Organizing Committee. Prachanda also confirmed that the party will take initiatives to ensure the upcoming convention is held on the scheduled date.
