Kathmandu—Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki met with Chief of Army Staff Ashokraj Sigdel on Tuesday at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office in Singha Durbar.
According to officials from the Prime Minister’s Office, the discussion focused on the recent security situation. Following the Gen Z protests, Chief of Army Staff Sigdel coordinated the process for selecting a new prime minister, and Karki was appointed in line with the protesters’ demands.
