Kathmandu- A prisoner who escaped from Nakhu Jail, Lalitpur, on September 9 (Bhadra 24) allegedly killed his wife upon reaching his home on Sunday.
Sant Bahadur Tamang, 35, from Gagal, Panauti Municipality-12, reportedly killed his 30-year-old wife, Manisha Ghyaawa Tamang. He was serving a sentence for a rape case in Nakhu Jail.

Tamang had escaped the jail along with around 700 other inmates during the Gen Z protests. Police teams from Panauti Police Station and Kavre District Police Office have reached the crime scene to investigate the incident.
