Kathmandu- Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested 22 men for allegedly using a fake football team to carry out human trafficking.
According to Geo TV, the group traveled from Sialkot to Japan but was deported after Japanese authorities discovered forged documents. FIA said the men were even trained to act like footballers but failed to perform.

The prime suspect, Malik Waqas, had registered a bogus club called “Golden Football Trial” and allegedly charged each person PKR 4–4.5 million. Reports suggest he ran similar scams in previous years as well.
FIA has registered a case against Waqas and launched further investigations. The case has raised concerns over increasing human trafficking and fraudulent schemes in Pakistan.
