Kathmandu—Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki has clarified that her cabinet will consist only of non-political and expert members, rejecting suggestions from the President to include representatives from political parties.
PM Karki stated that ministerial appointments will prioritize ethnic minorities, Dalits, women, and marginalized communities. The cabinet will have 10–11 members, with former Finance Secretary Rameshwar Khanal, ex-Nepal Electricity Authority chief Kulman Ghising, and lawyer Omprakash Aryal already appointed.
