Kathmandu – Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sushila Karki at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office in Singha Durbar on Tuesday.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting discussed various bilateral interests and mutual concerns. Prime Minister Karki requested support for the government’s primary mandate to hold elections.

During the meeting, Ambassador Srivastava conveyed greetings from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed a commitment to strengthening Nepal–India friendship and cooperation.
Srivastava also assured that India would continue to provide support according to Nepal’s needs as a good neighbor. He informed us that a telephone conversation between Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Karki is scheduled for Asoj 2.
