Health experts have warned that having sex in a hot tub or Jacuzzi can be harmful to health. Dr. Rashid Bani, a private physician and medical director of Your Sexual Health, explained that such practices may cause itching, burning, and redness in women, while temporarily weakening sperm in men.

“Hot water contains chemicals such as chlorine and bromine, which can affect private parts. Also, condoms can easily burst or tear in water,” Dr. Bani said. While there is no risk of sexually transmitted infections being transmitted in a hot tub, excessive heat can temporarily affect male fertility. Women, particularly in the early stages of pregnancy, should take extra precautions.

Experts advise that hot tubs should be used for relaxation and fun, and users should avoid prolonged exposure to prevent potential health issues.
