Key Points:

Actor Deepakraj Giri addressed the controversy surrounding a viral audio clip that surfaced recently, which dates back about a year.

He explained that the audio was recorded during a stressful period while he was busy with film projects, and the discussion was taken out of context.

Giri clarified that he did not make any statements in the audio against anyone; the clip reflected someone else’s frustration, not his own.

He mentioned receiving videos showing people following and monitoring him and his colleagues, which left him shocked.

Giri revealed that Rohit Adhikari, a producer, called him about the harassment and shared his own experience of threats he received.

He emphasized that the audio was misrepresented, and social media amplified the narrative unfairly, creating unnecessary controversy.

The actor described the mental and emotional strain the incident caused him and his family, particularly his children, who expressed concern over his well-being.

Giri condemned the “Khetala culture” in the industry, where conflicts escalate unnecessarily, and urged respect and cooperation within the film community.

He also requested support from colleagues and fans while expressing hope for accountability and proper resolution.
