Police have arrested 37-year-old Dharma Raj Malla over an audio conversation in which he allegedly claimed links with members of Home Minister Sudhan Gurung’s secretariat.
He was arrested after allegedly verbally abusing police and creating a disturbance when questioned about the audio circulated on social media. Police have obtained a two-day remand for further investigation.
According to police, six cases are registered against Malla in Banke, including public misconduct, banking offenses, fraud, and a telecommunications-related case.
