Tokyo: Nepal defeated Afghanistan by 5 wickets in the men’s cricket competition at the ongoing 20th Asian Games in Japan. Chasing a target of 103 runs, Nepal reached the target in 17.2 overs, losing five wickets.
Sandeep Jora scored 34 runs, while Rohit Paudel remained unbeaten on 33. In bowling, Kushal Bhurtel took four wickets. Nepal will face Japan on Saturday and is aiming for the Asian Games title.
