Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has been launched in China. Unveiled on September 23, the phone is claimed to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor based on 2nm technology. It comes with a 6.9-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness. It also features a 2.9-inch secondary display on the back and a hardware-level privacy display.
The Leica camera setup includes a 200MP main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, along with a 50MP front camera for selfies. The phone packs a massive 8,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Other highlights include Android 17-based HyperOS 4, IP69K protection, and up to 1TB of storage.
The starting price in China is set at CNY 6,999. Although Xiaomi has confirmed a global launch, the phone is expected to arrive in Nepal toward the end of 2026 or early 2027. Its price in Nepal could exceed Rs. 160,000. The phone will also be available in Nepal with a 0% EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) option.
