Prime Minister Balendra Shah is set to address the high-level session of the 81st UN General Assembly today. His address is expected at 8:00 PM New York time, or 5:45 AM in Nepal on Friday.
He is expected to raise issues including Nepal’s peace process, sustainable development, LDC graduation, and climate-related losses. Before the address, Shah is scheduled to meet UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
