Kathmandu District Police have arrested 70-year-old Kiran Vaidya, who was wanted in a fraud case, from Naxal, Kathmandu.
Police allege that Vaidya took Rs 54,096,940 as an advance payment by agreeing to sell 48 land plots in Bhaktapur’s Changunarayan-2, despite the land being restricted from sale. Further investigation is underway.
