Police have filed cases against 35 people accused of disturbing public peace, encouraging drug-related and sexual activities, and working as intermediaries in Kathmandu’s Thamel area.
Police detained 59 people during an overnight operation from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. Initial investigation found 13 men and 22 women allegedly involved in the activities. They are being investigated under public misconduct charges.
