Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) chair Rabi Lamichhane appears to be gaining increased diplomatic attention from major powers, including India, China, and the United States.
On Monday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Lamichhane by phone and expressed condolences over the extensive damage caused by the Rasuwa floods. According to RSP sources, Rubio also assured that US assistance to Nepal would continue on a priority basis.
