Nepal Police has warned social media users against spreading misleading information, rumors, and false content during floods and other disasters.
According to the information released by the police, 168 Facebook posts were identified for possible legal action, with 79 already removed. Four TikTok posts were identified, and all four have been removed, while one Instagram post has been identified for action.
