Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa visited flood-affected areas of Bidur Municipality in Nuwakot on Monday. A local resident complained to Thapa that rescue efforts for people missing in the floods and those trapped in tunnels were being delayed.
Thapa visited Trishuli Hospital, the holding center, Trishuli Bazaar, Devighat, Radbhumeswori, the power house and Tupche, as well as Darshan Tole, Pipal Danda, Kumaltar and Kolani, listening to concerns from flood victims.
