Nepal’s CPN-UML has announced Rs 12 million in assistance for rescue, relief and rehabilitation of people affected by floods, landslides and inundation in Rasuwa. Party chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli announced the party’s central office in Lalitpur on Monday.

The party’s Bagmati Province and Capital Special Province committees handed over checks worth Rs 1 million each. Oli said the party would focus on delivering relief quickly and directly to genuine victims instead of allowing funds to remain stuck in government accounts.
