Kathmandu – The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has assigned Chief Administrative Officers to 78 rural municipalities.
According to Thursday’s decision, officers from the Nepal Administrative Service, General Administration Group, gazetted third class (branch officers or equivalent) have been posted to fill vacant positions.
Most of those deployed were previously working in various ministries. With the formation of the new government, Minister Pratibha Rawal has begun filling vacant posts. Earlier, 63 Chief Administrative Officers had been assigned to coordination committees and municipalities across different districts.
