Prakash Kafle/Kathmandu. National Innovation Center founder Mahabir Pun has begun selling his autobiography on the streets of Pokhara today, expressing frustration over administrative delays. After completing a series of developmental and budgetary discussions across six local levels in Myagdi, Pun shifted his focus to book distribution near Balmandir in Nadipur. According to his social media update, he will be stationed 50 meters west of Singapore Cafe starting at 10:00 AM. Pun took a subtle swipe at local leadership and the slow pace of official procedures, noting that he chose to return to the streets because there is still no sign of the swearing-in ceremonies or formal progress. “The signs for the swearing-in ceremony are still not visible,” Pun stated.
Addressing local officials directly, he added with a touch of irony: “The first round of discussions regarding development and budget with representatives and villagers in the six municipalities of Myagdi is over. So, what else should I do, Mr. Mayor? Please don’t take it to heart.”
Pun has been traveling across the country to sell his life story to raise funds for the National Innovation Center, often choosing direct public engagement over traditional retail.
