Communist Party Nepal-UML leader Sher Bahadur Tamang has warned that any legal or administrative action taken against party Chairman KP Sharma Oli based on the Karki Commission report will lead to serious consequences. Leader Tamang emphasized that the party will strongly resist any move aimed at political vendetta against Chairman Oli.
Speaking in a recent interview, he stated, “If any attempt is made to take action against KP Oli using the Karki Commission report as a pretext, the UML will not stay silent. The resulting situation will not be ordinary for anyone.” He further accused the government of playing tactical games to create political instability and weaken the main opposition party. While noting that the UML stands for the rule of law, Tamang asserted that politics driven by vengeance would be unacceptable.
