Prakash Kafle/Kathmandu. Floodlights have been installed along the roadside at the Tuin Khola section of the Narayanghat–Muglin highway to improve visibility and safety.
According to the Bharatpur Road Division Office, the lights were installed as a precaution after rocks started falling from the nearby cliff following Thursday’s winter rainfall. The area near the bridge is considered vulnerable, with the possibility of rocks falling at any time.
To help drivers clearly see the risky section during nighttime, two floodlights have been placed along the road. During the monsoon season, landslides in this area have previously blocked the highway for long periods. Authorities have urged motorists to remain cautious while traveling through the section section.
