Prakash Kafle/Kathmandu. K. P. Sharma Oli has stated that the recent election results did not come as expected but affirmed that he respects the verdict of the people.
Oli said that the decision made by voters is an important expression of democracy and must be accepted with dignity. He also indicated that his party will carefully review the election results and reflect on the message delivered by the electorate.
Emphasizing that the people’s choice is final in a democratic system, he added that efforts will continue to regain public trust in the coming days. Oli also urged party supporters and cadres not to lose hope, noting that victory and defeat are natural parts of democratic competition.
