Prakash Kafle/Kathmandu. In Sunsari Constituency No. 1, Harka Sampang Rai has secured a significant lead in the ongoing vote count. Sampang, the chairperson of the Shram Sanskriti Party, is currently far ahead of his main rival.
According to the latest counting results, Sampang has received 32,409 votes, while his closest competitor, Goma Tamang Sarin, has secured 18,679 votes. With this tally, Sampang is maintaining a lead of nearly double the votes over Tamang Sarin, who represents the Rastriya Swatantra Party.
