Prakash Kafle/Kathmandu. Nepali Congress leader Gagan Thapa has congratulated Amresh Singh of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) after losing the election in Sarlahi Constituency No. 4.
Taking to social media, Thapa expressed gratitude to the voters of the constituency, writing that he is sincerely thankful to everyone who showed him love, trust, and support through their votes.
He also stated that he will continue working within his capacity to address the issues and challenges he observed in the constituency.
In the election results, RSP candidate Amresh Singh secured victory with 35,688 votes, while Thapa received 22,838 votes.
