Earthquake Tremors on Nepal–India Border, Where Was the Epicenter?

Kathmandu – An earthquake struck today on the border of Sankhuwasabha and Taplejung in eastern Nepal. The tremor occurred at 3:18 AM with its epicenter at Topke Gola. According to the National Seismological Center, the magnitude was measured at 4.7.

Just yesterday, on Falgun 14, tremors were also felt in the Nepal–India border region. At 12:54 PM, a 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck, with the epicenter reported near the Nepal–India (Sikkim) border by the National Seismological Center.

Similarly, on Falgun 11 in the morning, Bajura experienced a 3.9 magnitude earthquake. Prior to that, on Falgun 10 in the morning, Sankhuwasabha recorded a 4.1 magnitude tremor.
