Kathmandu – The Supreme Court has ordered the release of Durga Prasai, coordinator of the Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture, and Citizen Protection Campaign. The bench of Justice Manoj Kumar Sharma and Justice Meghraj Pokharel issued a habeas corpus order in his favor.

Uma Prasai had filed a petition last week at the Supreme Court, claiming that Durga Prasai was being held in detention illegally.
