New Foreign Minister Balananda Sharma Takes Oath, Vows to Improve Nepal’s Global Image

Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Foreign Minister Balananda Sharma at the President’s Office on Friday.

नवनियुक्त परराष्ट्रमन्त्री बालानन्द शर्माले लिए शपथ, नेपालको छवि सुधार्ने प्रतिबद्धता

The ceremony was attended by Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Karki, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut, and senior government and constitutional officials.

After assuming office, Minister Sharma said he would work to enhance Nepal’s international image and strengthen relations with neighboring and friendly countries. He added that any necessary cooperation related to the upcoming elections would be handled properly and transparently.
