Biratnagar—Young Koshi Province cricketer Minash Thapa tragically died in a motorcycle accident on Thursday morning in Biratnagar.
The 27-year-old Thapa met with the accident in an inner road section of Biratnagar Metropolitan City–4. He lost control of his motorcycle, numbered Province 1-02-042 P 8002, while riding from Biratnagar Airport Line towards Ganesh Chowk.
Thapa was rushed to Koshi Hospital but was declared dead by the doctors. He had played for Biratnagar Kings in the Pokhara Premier League and participated in other franchise leagues representing Koshi Province.
