Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and UML Chair KP Sharma Oli held talks on Monday at Deuba’s Maharajgunj residence. The meeting focused on ongoing political developments, including preparations to file a joint writ at the Supreme Court seeking restoration of the House of Representatives.

Oli, accompanied by UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, visited Deuba after being elected party chair. This marks Oli’s second visit to Maharajgunj. Earlier, on Mangsir 19, he had visited Deuba along with his wife, Radhika Shakya, in what was then described as a family meeting following Deuba’s return from medical treatment abroad.
Lawmakers from both UML and Nepali Congress are currently making final preparations to jointly approach the Supreme Court over the House restoration issue.
