From the RSP side, acting president Dol Prasad Aryal and Dr. Swarnim Wagle signed the agreement, while chairperson Samiksha Baskota and vice-chair Prakash Chandra Pariyar signed on behalf of Bibeksheel Sajha. The two sides reached a consensus on five key points, including formally recognizing the contributions of the late Ujjwal Thapa and the “Bibeksheel Movement.”

A “Special Mechanism Federal Leadership Platform” will be formed until the party’s general convention, with leaders from Bibeksheel Sajha nominated through mutual agreement. Responsibilities at the central, provincial, and local levels will be assigned based on merit, inclusion, and public image.

After unification, the party will continue under the name “Rastriya Swatantra Party” with the same blue flag featuring a white circle and blue bell. The election symbol will remain the “bell.” Both parties agreed to complete all Election Commission-related legal processes and manage movable and immovable assets through mutual understanding.

The unified RSP has also called on all progressive and alternative political forces to join hands for democratic governance and reform.
